  2. “Every day we hear about road accidents in Delhi.Road walkers and cyclists are the most vulnerable and the soft target for heavy vehicles, hence there is an urgent need for sustainable transportation,” Chandra Vikash,a social and environment activist said.

    The environmental and social activists met at Indian Habitat Centre on Monday for a panel discussion.The topic of the discussion was ‘Should New Delhi be car-free:weighing the pros and cons’.
